The diplomacy of two states: 1.7 million declassified US State Department records from 1973 to 1976, and cables from Saudi Arabia's foreign ministry.
Overview
The Kissinger Cables, launched in April 2013 as part of our Public Library of US Diplomacy: more than 1.7 million US diplomatic records from 1973 to 1976. Not leaked. Declassified National Archives records that we turned into a single searchable database.
The Saudi Cables, from June 2015: cables, reports and emails from the Kingdom's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. We did not name our source. The ministry had admitted a breach of its networks a month earlier, and the Saudi government urged citizens not to share the documents.
